ASSP CT Valley Chapter Event – November 2026

Join us on November 5th at On Track Karting Go Time in Wallingford, CT for an evening of professional development, networking, and fun. Representatives from the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CT DOT) will present “The Five Transitions of a Work Zone and What They Mean,” providing an overview of the key transition areas within a work zone and the critical role each plays in protecting roadway workers and the traveling public. Attendees will gain valuable insight into work zone design, traffic control principles, and roadway safety best practices.

The evening will begin with networking and food followed by the learning session. Attendees are invited to stay for go-karting and additional networking afterward!

• 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Networking and food
• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: CT DOT presentation, The Five Transitions of a Work Zone and What They Mean
• 6:00 PM onward: Go-karting and additional networking
