Looking for Volunteers

Apr 02, 2018

The CT Valley Chapter is a pretty active chapter, obtaining Gold Level recognition from the ASSE for the last 5 years. Making sure that we are distributing information and keeping our members informed of upcoming activities and job postings is an important function for our members. The Chapter currently has a couple of vacancies we are looking to fill to help with getting this information out. The positions are the Chapter Newsletter Editor, Social Media Chair and the Chapter Jobs Chair (three separate positions). The Newsletter Editor would be responsible for the publication of the Chapter newsletter. The Social Media Chair would be responsible for keeping the Chapter social media accounts current. The Jobs Chair would be the liaison between employers and our members. In addition to these roles, the Chapter elections are coming up and we have a few important positions that we are looking for candidates to fill. These would be for the Chapter President, Vice-President and the Western Mass Secretary. Our Chapter has been in existence for over 70 years, serving our members in the Safety profession. The Chapter would not function without the help from volunteers. If you want to get involved or find out more about the positions, please contact the Chapter President.
