ASSP Safety Matters Challenge
Oct 03, 2018
Greeting to all my fellow Region VIII members,
My name is Aaron Cameron and I have the opportunity to serve as Region VIII Vice President. A little over a year ago, we won the Safety Matters Challenge and were awarded the winning prize of $32,117. These funds are to be used for the benefit of Region VIII members. After thoughtful deliberation, and in accordance with the Foundation’s mission, we have developed a number of scholarships and professional education grants and are now making them available to any Region VIII member that qualifies. There are approximately $16,000 in total scholarships and grants for the 2018-2019 cycle. Please download and review the information sheet which will outline all the opportunities you have this cycle. Additional information will be forthcoming for student sections receiving Category 1 dollars.
ASSP Foundation is accepting applications through December 1, 2018. Visit the Foundation website at https://foundation.assp.org to apply.
Thanks for your continued support of our Region and good luck.
Aaron Cameron, CSP Region VIII VP
